    Micro ATX Board

I am looking for a good MicroATX board. I was looking into ITX but for a decent board it costs 250 dollars. I was hoping for about 150 without the cpu. I want a board that has:

    Good onboard graphics
    Pentium M socket

I can find a board to fit those needs but I was wondering if anyone could point in the direction of a good one for a carputer.

    -Thanks

You may want to redirect your searches for a mini ITX. Seems that there is soo much support for them than the micro.

$250 is not bad for an itx board. However, itx is only needed if you want to stuff it in some area with limited space.

Nowadays motherboards dont really matter. Just get one that has the correct ports you need, and get that. It used to be where some brands of motherboards just really sucked, but now it doesnt really matter so much. And since they are cheap anyways, doesnt matter too much. Just check eBay or newegg.com.

Be careful when you buy a Pentium M board because there is mass confusion over socket 478 and socket 479. The thing is they both have 478 pins, but the blank pins are in different areas on both chips and they are not compatable at all. So just be careful and be sure to read what CPU's they support.

I don't understand what you mean by this....

A motherboard is a motherboard. miniITX, ATX, BTX, nanoITX, flexATX or whatever is nothing more than a formfactor. It's just size and mounting, nothing more....

How can one formfactor is supported more than any other?
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Agree, is you dont have space limitations, get a mini atx, for is small enought, and i'll put it behind the screen in the radio space, if you can fit it there you go.

Okay thanks for the help. Yeah I know all about the mixup with pins (I did it for a computer I ordered at work) I think I am going to snag a minATX leftover from a project at work. I really like the pentium M processor and they are cheap and easy to find.

This is going in the trunk and USBing everything to the front (besides Video) so space really is not an issue.

For better graphics and about 130 you can get the Biostar with the latest and greatest GeForce 7050PV onboard graphics and a 1.6 ghz sempron. I think they are rated at 62 Watts. There is a 35 Watt version but I don't know how easy they are to find.
