Remote turn on from PC power supply

Is it possible to wire my amps remote turn on wire to my PC power supply. I currently have a molex connector running to my LCD. I was wondering if I could also tap this to start my amps. Reason being, my car uses mini fuses as opposed to the standard size and its nearly impossible to fit more than a few strands of the turn on wire in there.

    Thanks in advance.

LOL Never mind guys. Its now 4 AM and the birds are chirping, but Carputer is finally installed. Got tired of BS'ing this thing for so long. No sleep yet, off to Brooklyn for some Asian loving. Thanks for all the help.

well incase you do come back to this, yes you can use the yellow wire off your molex. However if you do a proper install with a DC-DC, then there is an amp turn on wire there that will anti-thump it for you too.

And what exactly do you mean by "proper" install? Clarify this term for me because im using an inverter in my set-up and all the propaganda against them have been debunked with proof of my setup.

BTW, the "ACC" wire was adequate to turn on both of my amplifiers.

Terrific for you. The problem with an inverter setup is that it does not provide an auto on/off signal to your computer and requires the user to either come up with their own solution or signal the pc manually.

DC-DC power supplies provide this feature and also generally have a delay on signal for your amplifiers to prevent a pop when the pc comes online.

If you're using an inverter and its working for you, then that's great.
