    Just wanted to introduce myself..

Hello all! I just wanted to say, "Hi"! I've been reading through the forums and there is alot of info here so I'll probably be here awhile.

Anyway, I'm planning on putting a system in a 99 ford f150. I did a search and it seems that some people have already put a few systems in the same truck. I'll be looking at some of those installs and see what'll work best for me. I'm leaning towards one of the pre-built systems just for the convience. It will work out of the box and probably be more reliable also vs. me custom building one and going through testing.

    So I'm off to

And just a heads, up, "out of the box" carPC is not like Uncle Ben's 30second rice. You dont just put it in and press start. It is more like those cookies in the tube. Already made for you but you have to do a little work to get them ready as opposed to making it all by scratch yourself.

The ready systems, have glitches and some weirdities all of their own. So do some research as to which is best for you.

    !

Seems you have this forum down pat already!

Good luck on your install and be sure and post your work-log so others can learn from your build!

Thanks for the welcome guys! I've been reading the forum on and off all day. Anyways, I'm gonna have to search on the required setup for these pre-built systems. As long as the setup is not too involved or is a one-time thing then, I'm ok with the quirks.

Anyway, I have something else too search right now!
