    Hi, I have been an avid guest on this site and just recently joined. I have two vehicle that I am customizing and both with carputers. I am a novice at this and need a little help. I recently purchased a Compaq Evo E-PC 2.4ghz, 512mb, 40gb hdd. I want to install it soon into my Mazda MPV but I want to load it with carputer software, navigation, plus increase memory and hdd. I need some advice and maybe a little instruction on what I need to buy. I have an idea of what I need but I'd rather get the info from those who know instead of trial and error. Any help anyone can give is greatly appreciated.

    Also my screen might be a pioneer avh-p4900dvd let me know if this is acceptable. I need big help. THANKS!!!! So happy I joined    [/CENTER][/I]

    I believe that PC uses a standard 3.5" harddrive and PC2100 DDR memory.

    As far as your screen, if you want to hook this up to your PC, you are going to need a screen with a VGA input. The Pioneer is basically a standalone unit, not meant to be a computer display.
