Hey guys I'm new to the site and I want to say a big hello again. I need help in knowing if I can use a backup APC UPS between the inverter and my car pc. Someone told me the inverter would not charge the UPS. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks<br /><br />
Inverters don't play nice with UPS units. You are correct in that they don't charge.
A true sine wave inverter may help with that, but I can't say, as I don't have any experience with them. I do know that a true sine wave inverter is more expensive, making it less desirable than other power options for a PC.
