I'm currently planning a basic audio/gps carputer for a hand-me-down '87 Mercedes 560 SEL. I'm thinking of routing the display up to the sunvisor. Funds will definitely play a big role in my choices.

As a starting question - Anyone have any experience working at the rear end of a stock Becker Grand Prix head unit(model 754)? It's got an anti-theft circuit that I'm hesitant to disable, at least until I've got more definite plans.
