In car pc - Hyundai Santa Fe (2007) - Suggestions and some gudiance needed :)

Hi guys. This is my first post, and I have some questions regarding mounting/administering the in car pc.

First of all. I have a double din (178mm x 100mm x ...) and want to use something like the liliput 7" which mp3car.com sells complete with the frame.
I was also thinking about buying a "complete" barebone.

    Now to the questions:
1: Will the Liliput come complete with a ignition on/off possibility when buying the fixed one from mp3car?

2: The computer: "This is an intelligent automotive 12V DC power supply with an integrated power on/shutdown controller that works with your vehicles igni" - So this will turn the computer on/off. But is it possible to make it go into "hibernation", instead of turning it off completly? I wouldn't want a system that needed more than 15sec to start up. Also does the barebone come with a video output, or do I need to buy this seperate (Doesn't say anything about it while selecting it in the shop).

3: I would need to use some kind of signal cables to my amplifiers, what product should i choose? I have two amplifiers (one for my speakers and one for my "sub"/base) - Or should i just take a wire from the soundcard that splits to two "signals" ?

4: Connecting the computer "mute - next song - prev. song - volume up/down" to my wheel(don't know if that's the right word) which has built in buttons. Is this going to be close to impossible to do, or is it doable?
If this doesn't work. Is there some other solution (except from a remote controll) that works well when it comes to turning the volume up/down - next song etc.?

I currently have a Pioneer Avic 3D indash double din, but I feel that a pc would suit me better. (since I'm from Norway, what i payed was overpriced as hell, but i have the chance to sell it for the retair price now.. So that would be around 2000$ here.) And since it actually would be cheaper to have a pc in the car (but more work), I see this as the best solution.

If anyone has a better suggestion to another setup (Barebone and double din touchscreen), please give me a reply

    Best Regards
    Anders Langset

    Sorry for my bad english.

1 - I don't believe so. You have to mod it/program it for auto-on capability.

2 - Yes. It simulates a press of the power button. Within the OS (usually Windoze) what happens when you press that power button.

3 - A 1/8=inch headphone jac to stereo RCA. They make cables in this configuration. You can alsu use stereo RCA cables and an adapter.

4 - It's doable, but you're likely going to be fguring that out on your own.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
