    Hi Folks here

I have come across this forum and have found some pretty good post. With the knowledge i gained from here. I am experimenting to install my laptop in my car.

But, the problem i had was broken hinges for my laptop so i parted LCD from base of laptop. Now wanted to use it as a display in my car connecting it to the base of laptop.

Can someone please tell me how can i extend the cables of the LCD and connect them back to the mother board. cables that are for LCD are short.

    Any input is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Well if you're using the original lappy, you can purchase long ribbon cables and reconnect/resolder.
If you are trying to use just the screen, you'll need the controller and other such things and it's prolly not worth it.
