Thread: Just caught the bug

Hi all out there,

Ive just found this amazing site in my search for information on Car PCs.

I live in Adelaide, South Australia and I own a 2005 FPV BF GT-P

If I can post a pic I will.

I have the full colour ICC screen, 6 stacker premium sound, and have retro fitted the ICC cover with a piano black one and painted the centre console to fit.

Ive been running a video iPod through a convertor into the screen for some time now and although the sound is excellent and the picture is fine, I WANT MORE......MMMWWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I am looking at a Car PC with a touch screen monitor.

Now I want to keep the original screen with the Ford software on it, eg, climate control etc, and was thinking of relocating it down to where the tissue holder using the orignal icc surround cut down and painted to match.

I would like to get a ready made car pc, I want to put the centrafuse software on it, appropriate size touch screen in the hole left by the original screen being moved. With sat nav, dvd, music, movies etc etc.

Im a real newbie, dont understand all the ins and outs but once I have the hardware, no poblem putting it in.

What would you guys suggest?
