    Mobile Computing Solutions

Has anybody ever bought from this company?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/2-0Ghz-Carputer-...QQcmdZViewItem

It looks live a really good deal and for what you get it seems about as cheap as you can get it. Any suggestions?

I bid on an Ebay item they had and paid for it through Paypal. Get an email from them stating they did not have the item in stock and refunded my money to Paypal - course then I had to wait three days for Paypal to get the funds back into my account.

Sent them an email bi$#%#$ because they had listed 250 available and only sold 8 in the auction - then put up the same auction next day for another 250 of them at a higher price...

Then they left negative feedback for me - I will never deal with this company now so they lost out on a nice little chunk of business

I ordered the following from them last week:

1 x Automatic Startup and Shutdown Power Controller
    (automatic_startup_and_shutdown_1) = $49.99
    1 x USB SiRF III GPS Receiver (usb_sirf_iii) = $54.00
    1 x External USB Slot Loading DVD R/RW Drive (MCS-URRW) = $74.99
    1 x Lilliput EBY-701 7" Touch screen + Wide screen Monitor (MCS-EBY701) =
    $174.99
    1 x 100M/330' USB Bluetooth Dongle Vista Compliant (MCS-USBBT) = $3.99

    I ordered these from store.mo-co-so.com

Everything arrived Tuesday and with the exception of the DVD driver everything works.

The DVD drive is a slot loading drive and the IDE to USB case that it is in pushes down too hard on the top of the drive causing CDs and DVDs not to eject.

I called and will be returning the DVD drive (my dime but thats pretty standard) and they will send me a new one. So far, other than the broken drive I have had not problems with MoCoSo.

Thanks, it's been alot of fun building it. The Computer will be the ultimate touch and the case from Mo-Co-So will be a great start. There kept that on topic I think i'm going to start my build log soon and the first couple posts will be about the XJ itself.

Just wrote a review on the 2ghz computer. Personally, I find it to be a great system and have been using it for month and a half. Not sure when it will show up.

    Here ya go....
