i want to install a car pc in my 2002 mustang gt. it has a 2 din slot for the radio. the current mach 460 headunit went out on me so i want something different than the radios you can buy anywhere. and the car pc will be it since it can monitor the engine as well. what and where can i find a good setup that isnt overdoing it. it will mostly be used for the radio and engine control functions but i would like to store music in it as well. please help me, im sooo lost in this new thing. lol.

Turn the lights on by reading up on here. There's a ton of information avaliable for you to help you learn about the various aspects of a CarPC.

You should check out blk02si's stang install. Lots of good info w/ pics and it should be a great resource for you to look up all that you need to get started.

If you allredy have the parts, m2 ATX... that little puppy saved me quite alot of time when trying to mod a standard PSU. Post pics when your done racer02... sounds like a nice ride you got there.
