    all out or no?

hey im thinking about getting a car computer in my first car...im wondering if this is a good choice?

I like this one as it has many choices of hardware! if you guys have any ideas or other suggestions please say them.
I am also wondering what i should do, should i go all out as i will be spending probably 20+ hours installing this system or should i make a budjet and go cheaper? i mean money wont be a problem, i will save as much as i need/want.
    thanks

That's pretty top-shelf as far as hardware goes.
Are you sure you need all that computing horsepower?

And yes, you could build one for a lot less (as Zach points out), assuming you have the knowledge and skills to do so. If you don't have the skillset or the time or inclination to build your own PC, then this certainly acceptable, if not overkill.

I would evaluate what you want your vehicle computer to do. You may not require such potent hardware that carries a high price tag.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
