Using a double-din touchscreen/dvd/am-fm tuner unit into my carpc

Just wondering if this would be possible: use one of those double-din touchscreen units (that have a dvd drive built in) as my car-pc screen? Is there a way to get that dvd player hooked up to my motherboard so I can control it thru the pc rather than the built-in hardware/software...

That isn't as big as a problem as integrating the built-in radio of the unit as well as the buttons to work within whatever front end environment I will be using.

I guess an example would be something like this:

(The reason why I am asking, is that I can get one locally FS for a pretty good price: cheaper than it would cost to get a touchscreen, let alone a DVD player and am/fm tuner card... not to mention the install wold be pretty clean and the DVD drive would be right there, I wouldn't have to mess with putting one in the glove box or something.)
