Turtle Beach SRM (Roadie) to PXA-H701

This may be a dumb question, but can anyone tell me how to connect the SRM to the PXA-H701. The optical out only allows 2 channels, and I'm wanting to setup 5.1 or 4.1 with a phantom center. There is an analog cable included, but it has 3 connections: Fronts, Rears, Center/Sub, which can give you up to 6 total RCA connecters, however, the Alpine only has 2 analog inputs.

I take it that the analog input on the alpine is only for 2 channels?

    Thanks

For digital 5.1/4.1 you will need a real time Dolby Digital AC3 or DTS encoder running on your pc.

Yes, I have AC3, but I'm just talking about the physical connections.

That's the point. The optical out on the Roadie is only 2 channel.

Not if you use a real time DD or DTS encoder on your PC or play back DD or DTS content.

The digital optical out only supports 2 channels regardless of the input.

Bollcks. From the link I provided above:

    Connect to your home theater
S/PDIF output allows pass-through of Dolby Digital® and DTS® DVD formats for pure digital quality surround sound on A/V receivers or digital speakers.
The 2 channel limit is for uncompress PCM audio. DD and DTS are multichannel compressed audio formats that are contained within a 2 channel PCM signal. If you can't or don't want to comprehend this then I'm not willing to help, no matter how simple the solution actually is.
