Thread: How to use a Sony Vaio UX as a Carputer?

Hi. I'm new here and into CarPCs (duh)... First post.

I just got a Sony Vaio UX and I would like know any veteran's ideas on how they would turn it into a carputer.

I drive a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser and was thinking on the Infill, but I just got this mini notebook as a birthday gift and now I wonder if a project like this is feasable...

Should I have to build a custom dock station for it so it remains afixed on while driving off road?

Where could I put it in the FJ?

How to connect it to OSD II, to speakers, to a GPS antenna, etc etc...?

What would I need?

Geez... So many questions and so little ideas. I hope you can help me and guide me on what's possible and what note with this hardware and this car.
