They've been discussed a number of times.
The biggest drawback is the P-III 933mhz CPU.
It's a fair unit for a quick & easy installation, IMHO.
I am interested in getting this item from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/E-PC-...QQcmdZViewItem
Has anyone bought this item? any reviews on it?..
thanx for the feedback in advanced.
i dont own one.. but here's my quick review...
decent speed on the processor.. might be hard to watch a dvd in a front end with it though
128MB ram included.. with a max of 256MB... I take that back.. you WONT be able to watch a movie on this.. dvd or otherwise.
20GB hard drive... very small but thats easily upgradable
Pros: The size is nice.. the built in DC power supply is also nice.
Cons: Only 2 1.1 usb ports limits you SEVERELY in a car pc environment. Bandwidth aside youre looking at having to run external powered hubs everywhere if u wanta real system. ZERO expansion from this system means no video cards or internal wifi. USB audio cards will KILL the limited bandwidth of the 1.1 usb so you're looking at onboard audio for your sound.
I would stay away from this thing personally.
