    Front panel audio module

Well, I´ve received the stage 2 full package deal and installed it in my car. The problem now is that I cant seem to get any signal from the Front panel audio module. I´ve checked the other outputs on the soundcard and they are working fine. So why cant i get anything from the front panel??

Please don't be insulted by this, but is the front panel audio connector plugged into the motherboard?

not insulted at all, I dont know to be honest. Just cant believe theres two plugs for no reason. Could it be theres a hardware switch so i can choose between RCA connections and the 3.5mm outputs?

There should be a cable that comes from the front panel and it probably either is not hooked up or it is connected to your motherboard. Just disconnect it from the motherboard and plug it into the sound card.

The front panel has to be hooked up to the sound card in order for it to work.

On most motherboards (mine included), the audio can work without the front-panel jacks connected. I had to put a couple of jumpers on the headers for it to work.

    Hope that helps...
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

If it's a Voom case, like the one sold by mp3car, there are jumpers inside the case near the RCA jacks...

I don't remember if they were straighforwardly labled. Ask around or contact mp3car maybe.
