Few newb Qs about classic VIA MII10K board

Ive been away so loooong that im as good as newb.

    1. Is getting custom resolution out of board's CLE-266 graphic chip still a standing issue or does there exist solution powerstripping or otherwise? Im after WIN-based solution.

    2. Whats up with USB-ports on the board? is it normal that they dont give out enough juice to power any device? Like memory sticks or bluetooth dongles??

USB ports should be standard at least 500ma per port, so yeah each port will power a normal USB device. I didn't have any problems powering USB devices with my M10000, but it wasn't the M2, so I hope my experience applies to the M2 as well, but take it as you will.

I've not tried 800x480 from my M10000 (same graphics chip), so can't promise powerstrip will work, but I think it would.

Well, Advanced timing button is greyed out when i try to strip, and when i try to read about it i encounter severel threads both here and otherwhere stating it wont... but im really happy if it indeed will... just like to know how

Hmmm somehow theres too little juice in my ports, sucks!
