I updated the drivers, bios and still have no luck with this...
I set up my carpc (a dell inspiron 2500) with a HPLI906 monitor on my test bench. Well, when I went to hook it up to my car I cannot get it to display 800x600 full screen. Whenever I have that resolution set to 800x600 and hook the vga cable up the, both screens do not go full screen after a reboot. It will only display 1024x768 full screen. I didnt even think my car screen was able to display this high, according to everyone else posts. If you want a little background n the screen is can be found here:
Mazda6 Holy Grail Screen
of course the thread is 24 pages long and the problem seems simple.
I brought dell back upstairs and hooked it to the same monitor and when I have it on 600x800 it does the same thing (does not go fill screen). I look in device manager and it is loading a second driver under monitors. It says:
"Digital Flat Panel (1024x768)"
which I assume is the problem. I delete the driver and reboot and it shows back up and does the same thing. I disable the driver and it still will not bppt up full screen. The other driver is just a "Plug and Play Monitor" Driver
Any help would be appreciated as I cant find any info on what exactly is the probem. Do I need to make a rededit?
Edit, when I hook the monitor to my IBM and change the res to 800x600 it works fine. It is because it is a stupid DELL POS! HELP.
Thanks,
