if it's not too much wattage, get a fused 8 and end it with a distribution blockthese kits usually run about $35 at walmart. comes with an 8 guage fused positive power hookup, 8 guage negative, 2ch RCA's & a 16 guage remote wire.
Greetings all,
I have been planing to undergo this project for a long time and when my headunit died i figured i might as well finely go about getting my own carpc.
To begin with a little bit about my system:
i will be used via epia en15000 with 512mb ddr2 ram.
I will be using a usb slim cd/dvd from MCS
and a 20gig 5 year old 2.5" hdd(had one lying around :P)
will be fitted to a custome dual din caseing.
accesseries will include usb GPS reciever with 7" lilliput.
to power this i have chosen m3-atx.
The screen will be powered from the m3-atx.
I have all the parts mantioned above and right now waiting to recive the amp-100 from www.davidnavone.com.
My question propably a simple one for you experts but although i'm a bit familiar with electroncs car audio is my new frontier.
I read that a 12gauge wire would safice to power m3-atx spu, but does anyone know what wire gauge i should be using to power the amp-100?
I was thinking of running 1 wire from my battery then spliting it.
Would this be a good idea or should i run a seperate wire for the amp?
