    Internet in my car(help)

I need some suggestions, I'm an American living abroad in Mexico. I have a business here and want internet in my car for work and to take skype calls. Do I need a computer just to get internet? (the mexican phone companies do offer mobile internet cards for you pc or mac). Or is there a way to just have some sort of reciever in my car? I know it seems alot to just get phone call, but it is alot simpler then the other options.

a computer would make it simpiler... cell providers offer the "highspeed" internet access. which as simple as plugging the card into the pc. Internet honestly looks the best coming from a pc.. sure cell phones can browse the net but then you might as well use that for phone calls instead of skype. If you add a pc get a cellular broadband card, buy a voip phone bluetooth/usb and use it as a carphone. . personally i am waiting to see what wimax has to offer before signing a contract.

I am assuming skype is for the Mexico to US calls which will cost a fortune so if thats all you want a phone would work for you. Many of them run Skype now and will put it over hands free, it works really well too. Loads more will do email for you as well and some have word/XL built into them for some lite office work. If you wanted to do some heavier duty office type work then yes a PC would be the easiest to use.
