1.5 DIN Question
my truck (98 dodge ram 1500) has a 1.5 din slot and i'm a complete noob to this. but would i be able to use a din type in-dash? i need one to plug my ipod in and haven't found a 1.5 din that'll even play mp3.
not really the forum for this, we are mainly concentrated on carpc's but your best best is to go to crutchfield.com and "outfit your car". It'll show you all the head units that'll fit in your truck, and it'll give you a mounting accessory that'll convert your 1.5 din into a 1 din slot w/ a little pocket for CDs under the CD player. hope that helps.
oh, didn't know it was car pc's oriented because of the domain. thank you for the info though, will be sure to check it out.
