Hmmm that is news to me :) I actually didn't know that it was so much lower than rated 100Mb/s is really slow its only like 12.5MB/s i guess that means that the CF read/write times are off too huh? Transcend is rating there extreme CFs at 45MB/s have u used these before how terrible is that?
sorry diden't mean 100mbits but 100Mb per sec.
drives in my pc at home get around 75-80Mb per sec.
imo i'd go with the hdd drive. it more likley to fail but should be faster and with the cost
of hdd's atm who cares if it does fail?
Since i already bought the harddrive i'm going to try that one first and see how fast i can get that to resume and how fast i can get through a cold start. I really don't want the harddrive to fail that would be annoying cause in iowa its freezing 80% of the year. I'm going to test both setups and i'll post some times when i have my test station setup. I'm buying part by part watching ebay and slickdeals :-D i got my ram for 13 bucks that was EXCELLENT!

Here is what i have so far for the RR software. I do like the software but of course i'd love to have everything working, like phone control, but its good for being free. I assume phone control doesn't work all around or am i just doing something wrong? I pretty much love everything else.

Phone control isn't free............................unless you're using a stolen copy.

Also, they both only support GSM phones.

oh no i didn't mean phone control the program i just meant actual control over the phone. I'm using a GSM phone but i'm starting to think that PDA phones don't seem to work correctly. Last night i a bluetooth connect program that sets up the audio gateway along which freefone fails to do. Now i'm able to answer the calls via the freefone program and hear it through the speakers but i still can not make calls and hear it through the speakers.
I think i'm going to use RRMobile but instead of making it take the place of freefone i'm just going to add it as a custom button in the skin. We will see how that works. I'll keep everyone posted on that.
