Thread: Howdy, New Here.

I'm new to the forum and as suggested I'm posting a Hello message.

I just finished the 2008 Big Apple to Big Easy Rally (http://www.baberally.com) where I used my HTC 6800 phone and a bluetooth GPS to provide a feed of where I was for my friends and family watching my website (http://www.rallytucson.com).

One of my friends ran a team with their own tracking and photographing software (http://www.tucson-bangers.com) quickly written in VB and running on a inverter powered laptop.

Next year we want to do better.

So my goal is to install a Dell SX280 in both of our cars with multiple cameras providing both stills and video to the websites as well as tracking.

I'd also like to have in-car navigation for our teams use as well as media playback support.

I've not finalized what car I'll be installing this in yet for my team but currently it looks like I'll be running a 1972 Triumph Spitfire.
