No it doesnt have VGA in, it doesnt look like it has any video in actually apart from reverse cam. The touch screen wont work a PC either, just itself. You could use it instead of a car PC I guess if you didnt want sat nav. Although it says it does sat nav in that add I cant see it mentioned anywhere else on the web.

It might be a nice car stereo replacement, but I'd stay away from it for any car w/ a Carputer in the works for the reasons outlined so excellently above. You HAVE to have a VGA or other computer video interface, otherwise the picture quality degradation will be tremendous.

Not to thread jack here but I was wondering if it would be possible to use RCA Video in? I have a Legacy LCD and the only video in is RCA it appears. I am planning on just docking a laptop in the car. Is it possible to make this work?

I agree that it would be very difficult to read.

Even if you were to ,make the font as big as possible, it would still be unreadable. I have my MediaPC on a 27 inch TV and with the font big, I still have some issues reading font. On a 7 or 8 inch, forget it, so unreadable.
