No need for a nav unit if you're gonna run carpc.
Hey peeps!
Thanks for sharing all of your information! That's what I like about forums, everyone is so nice!
I just picked up a an '04 F150 Lariat (I know, gas prices are silly, but I really needed a truck!) I also picked up a Jensen VM9022, couldn't help myself, the price was great, and I love the deck. This sparked an intrest in car computing. I build PC's quite reguarly, but, never for a vehicle! The auxilary inputs in the deck are just dying to be used for such a project.
As I've read, the touch screen isn't functionable for the computer itself, but, I can use it as a display while utilizing an auxilary input device. Do you think it's silly to add the NAV101 option (it's on ebay for like 180 bucks!), if I'm considering a carputer?
