That is pretty sweet. I just took a look at the install you did. Very nice. I have a 300zx 1993. I am not so sure I would have enough room to fit something like the imon and a screen in mine. That imon is pretty badace

yeah I don't think that will work for my uses. I think I will just have it open always so it is not set back. or do you find the setup back help with being able to see the screen because it protects it from the sun?

Nah, only time I close it is to hide the screen. 90% of the time, it stays open.

Here is a pic of what my dash looks like, although not my car. I think the vents may have to go. Who needs em anyways, right? I'm sensing some custom work with epoxy and bondo etc? Should be a pretty sick project. Do you think the imon is worth the extra install from your personal use with the system. I ask because once I custom fix the screen there is no more custom work because of all the work involved and i'd have to move it all again and redo so I want it all the first time.

A powermate could do most anything you want (monitor only, no imon), but I prefer having the button control as well as the knob, so for me, it's important, but if I didn't have 2 double din sections? I probably wouldn't use it.

I was working with Soundgraph to try and get them to design a single din or even clip on unit (they used my video on their website so it opened a dialogue), but I haven't heard anything from them in awhile.
    My opinion is my own.

What are you referring to when you say double din? Probably a very simple question, but Important I think. Thanks

that doesn't matter. I can work magic with some custom work. i do have experience in that. I will just be missin some vents!! LMAO! Who needs them anyways. I'm thinking the iMon will be right above the clock and then the screen will be right above that with about a half in. spacing between them. I'm thinkin it's a go. Now I just have to find the best possible prices on the stuff. Should be pretty badass. Any other recommendations on things you did or wish you did? Btw I think the imon is almost necessary because I think the touch would be an inconvenience after a while.

Ifound a place in Canada that sold the iMon for $30 cheaper than the US, but I can't remember the store. Be sure to search. Fry's has it if you don't want to wait. The iMon isn't just plug and play, so be sure to watch some youtube videos on the installation.

To me, the imon is important (How important? My next car will also be a Z so I can mount it), but I have seen some other cool input devices on here. Can't remeber the threads though. Do as search on iMon Ultrabay and the threads should list.

To me, my system is perfect. I can't think of anything I would change.

Edit: Correction. I really like the Visteon HD radio, so if I were to change anything, I would probably get rid of the HQCT module.
    My opinion is my own.
