    Question Car Window control

I am sry if this has already been talked about but i have been looking for 3hrs now trying to find it and no luck.

I am looking into welding the doors shut on my car and put a carpc in among other things. What i want to know\
Is there a way to control your widows with a pc
Is there a way to do it with out a RF remote maybe a touch pad(saw somthing on trick my truck they put somthing in a cane and all he has to do is pass it where the door handle used to be and pop, the door opens)
I will have a fail safe under the hood or in the trunk so if the system acts up i can still get in.

Again sry if this has been posted up alrdy but after 3hrs and loss of half my hair i just figured i would ask

Yeah, for simplicity sake, I'd recommend using a car alarm remote to do it. I added this option to two of my cars alarms and its very handy. Now when I use the remote to lock the doors the windows also close. Another button on the remote is used to lower them.

You could just get one of the power window control units like this and hook it up to the output of a fusionbrain.

Have fun standing round waiting on your computer to boot so you can put the windows down to climb in.

Putting a PC in the mix adds a lot of worthless complexity. Use a basic automotive window controller and trip it with a magnetic switch or something if you are opposed to using a remote.
