    Hey guys & gals!

Hey everyone! I'm a computer science major here in Arkansas and have always had a love of cars and computers. I recently was approached by a friend with a 2000 Honda Accord and a old desktop. Our plan is to use the desktop (if possible) and wiring the bad boy up. I've got a fairly extensive background in home computers but fairly little when it comes to using them in a vehicle so I'm looking for guidance. As far as size, it will fit under the passenger seat just fine and will be housed in a custom case. My only concerns are powering the machine and connecting it to the touchscreen. I assume that it can be connected via VGA cable which would be no problem. I'm going to start reading up on the boards but any input or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm not sure as to what the PC components (it's an old Compaq) include but will post once the fresh copy of Windows is installed. Thanks in advance!

I'm the friend with the Accord. I have no idea about the computer stuff but and handy when it comes to the physical instilation and fabrication end. If anyone has done this in the same or similar car any additional info is helpful
