I just bought a Car PC taken out of a demo vehicle. I am not sure what model it is, but it appears identical to: [media]http://www.drivesoft.net/images/products/CAC_M1000-Case.jpg[/media]
It does not have an internal DVD drive, so it's not the DS-ALV15-RM.
There are 4 wires on the power source, none of which are labeled, 2 yellows, 1 black, 1 red, I am going with the obvious that red is positive and black is negative. Are the 2 yellows for a remote?

Ok got it running and to the desktop on a normal monitor.
6 pin connector:
Red = ignition
2 Yellow = 12v+
2 Black = ground
Blue/White Strip = REMOTE OUTPUT (not needed) Power on with system
White/blue strip on enclosure = REMOTE OUTPUT (not needed) Power on after boot??
Now to hook up the monitor:
TX18D11VM1CAA
4 wires:
red, yellow, black, grey
i cannot find anything on this...
any help??
i have all hooked up except grey and get a red light for power but no signal.
Forum wasnt much of a helpfigured it out.
Now no input from screenI've tried 6 different drivers and can't install Vista (lack of memory) ... anyone have any luck with freebsd or another *nix build?
