Well I past my last 4 hours to read a try to find a simple answer / tutorial on how to setup my bluetooth connection between my cellphone and my car pc and use it with road runner.
What I have:
Carpc
Bluetooth Dongle (with bluesoleil software)(already installed)
Road runner software (already installed)
UTstarcom PPC-6700
I have read that some people were using some software like PHONECONTROL and PHOCO but I also read that this software were not available no more, or they were not working with CDMA phone. Well I read so much stuff that I'm lost now and would very appreciate any help or guidance.
Thank You!
i would love a solution as well tried hornhunters link b4 and couldnt get it to work with ppc-6700/telecom apache
Have You tried RR mobile phone plug-in ???
I can send it to you if you can't find it on this forum...
Do you have a problem to establish a connection between your phone and pc or your problem is how to embed it into RR ?
I drop my eye on the specs for your PPC and maybe that is the problem because it runs on the Windows mobile and perhaps you may to configure it properly and establish a connection with your pc first....
phone just wont talk to software tried two different bluetooth dongles, so i gave up can get a headset connection in bluetooth but nothing else just assumed it was wm5, wife due for a new ph with bt so will try that when it arrives, the problem now is that no one supports ph software for rr, and no one to continue developing it.
I would try to connect some ordinary phone with factory software instead of PPC... My guess is that some conflicts between these two operating system is bugging you...
I did try with 2 other phone, but the bluetooth port option does'nt show upthere's only the headset and the object push option available.
