Multiple monitors?

I am wanting to build a computer for my truck and have it be used in place of all of my existing guages, as well as my entire stereo... i would like to run a touch screen in the center column/dash area (building a full sheet metal dash and fiberglass center console). my question is can i put another screen infront of the steering wheel to run my guages on and only my guages? thanks!!!

The answer is yes but you'll need a reliable OBD device as well as failsafes for the software. Plus if your computer crashes you have nothing. Also you'd need a custom GUI just for your truck. If you search around there's a huge writeup I seen of a guy who did this in his MR2 and it looked amazing but not sure how reliable it would be.

Also when you get into the car, you would have to wait for the PC to boot up and load in order for the gauges to work.
