DELL OPTIPLEX SX280 MINI Questions

Hi,

Well my dream is finally underway. I just bought this off of ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=150316568883). I sent him a pm, and he said he thinks the power supply is bad. How do I go about ordering a new one, or do I need one if I use the P2140? Ive been searching on here, and it seems that is the one to use. Im just confused on how that is going to to together with it.

Anyone used this computer, and are there any problems I should be ready for?

This could be a problem for you if he doesn't send the power supply. If he does and its the only thing bad, you got a great deal!

There have been several discussions here about these and the other Optiplex CPUs. The biggest issue is the power connector can't be found as a separate item anywhere. To use it in the car you have to sacrifice the power supply and wire the connector to a DC power supply.

Yea, I hope I made a good buy. I saw it for that price, and just couldnt pass it up. If he doesnt send the powersupply, what do I do? Just by a replacement one? Ive already read the first two threads, and they got me thinking, and thats why i posted. So I just need to take the old power supply and cut it, splice it on the P2140? Im hoping it will come with directions. Is there a slightly cheaper DC-DC power supply I can use?
