I just recently bought a new touch-screen stereo for my car. I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be able to be used as a monitor as well as the stereo system.
It is a Pioneer AVH-p4000DVD A/V receiver. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...P4000DVD?tab=A.
I wasn't sure whether or not a cable could be run from the computer to this touch-screen.
Thanks much!

Thanks for the help!
Does that mean I'd use a cable that has the VGA at one end and a A/V connector at the other? Or does that mean I'd use a single cable with two A/V connectors?
Also, I had read somewhere that using A/V won't allow you to use the touch screen, any thoughts on that?
no touch control read my other threat to get touch usb. also thats not a s-video input, it's RCA. pretty sure there's no VGA to RCA cable.; your only solution is PC with RCA video out or S-Video out with a a S-video to RCA converter cable bought only online.. not very common...hard to find.
Did it.. Done it... now I got to keep the neighbors kids away!!

Hi
I am also thinking of using the double din dvd players LCD touch panel as a screen.
I am planning to remove everything except amplifiers, LCD, then going to place a psu and PICO itx board.
By this way is it possible to re use the existing LCD TOuch panel.
Since the case and motorized LCD is available i dont need to much worry about the case and monitor.
The HU i am going to use:
PIONEER DOUBLE DIN AVIC-HRZ88
please some one help me
thanks
