    Taking apart the Lilliput Touuchscreen

Why is it that we have to take the Lilliput Screen apart from it's Housing?.
Does it not fit in Dash the way it is originally supplied?

    Thanks,

    Har.

As I've been poking through a lot of installations recently, it seems like the goal for a lot of people here is to integrate their touch screen into their dash in a manner than makes it look OEM. In many cases that requires hacking up the housing to make it fit better. The lilliput 629 in particular is a pretty tall housing in comparison to a double din dash opening.

Its all about taste. With my install, I fealt that keeping the Lilliput in its case looked more OEM, since in my opinion the Lilliput EBY701 looks like a headunit Dodge would use.
