Thread: cold weather problems?

I do. I use a desktop hard drive in my car, and some mornings it just does not want to spin up. What I've done to circumvent that is load my OS on a CF card, and use a USB drive for all my music and what not.

when it's -20 C, my carnetix does not power up( bt design), after car heats up, about 15m, it automatically turns on. xenarc 700tsv isn't too bright in the cold either...
