Need help new system. 600w amp/And more speaker stuff... :)

    Hey all,
I need some help setting up my new(to me) 600w Kenwood amp, along with my NEW Alpine SPR-17S Component 2-way speakers. I have no clue what to do. Im such a noob. Letting you know before you read on.

Really what I need help with is understanding how to install the wires for everything. I can install the speakers and woofers and everything with no problem. I just dont know how to set up the wires. Simple stuff right?

With the Alpine it has the tweeters and the 2way crossover network box. It shows me the wiring connection diagram on the box, but what I dont know is where the wires all go to and come from. What I mean is the AMP (in+/-) and Woofer (+/-).

On the AMP to the subs its simple right? Power from battery to amp. Ground to car. Remote to Head unit. Where I need some help is with the Bridged Left/Right +- Speaker output. & Speaker Level input L/R & line in.

    My setup is a
    -600w Max Pwr Kenwood Stereo/Bridgeable amp KAC-829
    -(2x)10" Rockford Fosgate Woofer
-Alpine SPR-17S Component 2-way speaker system.
-Head unit is a Pioneer hooked up to the factory car amp. Or just bypassing it. I dont remember how I had to hook it up when I installed my head unit.

Thanks sorry if this is very confusing to understand. I hope you can get the idea of where I need help.

    Thanks.

If you are useing two subs, you don't want to bridge them. That is only done when you are using a multi-channel amp with one sub. Your amp should have a Lt and Rt output. Wire one sub to the +/- on the RT and one on the LT. Is that what you are asking about?

Careful! Read your manual!!! It looks like you may be WAY over your head. Please find a buddy who knows what the are doing to help you out or pay for professional installation. Its going to cost you more in the long run if you dont

You can not bridge the amp to two subs. Run it like a stereo pair of speakers. Ignore Speaker level inputs on the amplifier.
Take my advice: Do not try to build a system that includes EVERY feature. Start with the basics, build it to a bug free state, and THEN add on.

Is the 600w amp currently running the 10" subs? If yes, then you probably CANT use the same amp to run the new component speakers. You either need to run the components directly off your head unit or buy them their own amp.
