Hello ladies and gents. I am new to the idea of Car PCs. I got interested in the idea a few weeks ago, so I bought "Build Your Own Car PC", by Gavin Harper, and now I have a million and one questions. I imagine that this is the place for answers.
See you around.

Gavin's book is one way to build a car PC. There are other ways and, of course, the technology has moved on since it was written.
When you've got some ideas, post them up in the Newbie - Proposed setup forum.

I already read the FAQs, you are correct, lots of good info. As for Gavin's book, it was a great read, took me about 2.5 hours straight, cover to cover!!! Awesome info, cleared up alot of things that I was a little fuzzy on, more specifically, it enabled me to ask my questions more clearly.
Actually, I have already modified my initial plan (to buy all new hardware) to pilferring and reusing tower (I already have the tower) hardware. I will get my thoughts together and post up in the Newbie Proposed Idea thread.
