Xbox 360 or 1 generation xbox?

I own a eclipse AVN6610 and recently ive decided to go the CarPC route I have these two systems that I dont use anymore since I use my PS3 more often.

I know the 360 is a power hungry machine and well the 1st generation xbox i havnt seen someone convert that to a PC.

My Question is this would it be possible to Remove all of its contents and put a mini atx or sumthing and make it a Real PC??

Im looking to just have all the capabilities of the Eclipse 6610 like Rear View Camera, Bluetooth, Ipod(music) and if possible play BlueRay movies

I do have a 10" sub and aftermarket speakers what sound card would you recommened for optimal sound??

Oh and my monitor would be a Xenarc 1020TSV

do you think it will be doable????

I had the exact same setup for a while. I had a mini-itx in an xbox case and it worked great. Just make sure to take the time to secure all the hardware in the box. I ended up screwing my xbox case to the trunk, then mounting everything, then just slipping the lid over the top of it. It's snug enough that there isn't any reason really to screw it down.

    Short answer, yes, very doable.

Really that's up to you. Just make sure it has all the necessary hookups to plug in all the neat devices you want. Also make sure it can be powered by the PSU that you get as well.

EDIT: You may require something a little more beefy if you want to view BluRay.

Probably need more processing power and/or a better GPU (graphics adapter/card). I haven't seen any setups that will do BluRay, but do a search and see what others are using. There's bound to be SOMEONE on here using BluRay.

look up "softmod" for xbox. you can play xbox games and use it as a pc, although i do not think you can put windows on it. but still it will be capable of everything you want.

Sorry to burst your bubble there bud, but the xbox is not powerful enough to play BluRay, let alone read them. Nor will it be able to use bluetooth or a backup camera. Did you even read what he was wanting to do?

Plus, no windows, and even the linux distros for it are so old and run so crappy he'd hate it. Remember, xbox 1 only has 64mb ram... that gets sucked up in a flash.

^ you can upgrade xbox components though. and i have heard of people getting bluetooth with them. maybe it'll never play blueray, but thats just pointless on a 10" screen anyways. not only would it be way overkill in pixels, it would half the screen since it wouldnt make use of the top or bottom.
