rearview mirror w/bluetooth

Question could I use this rearview mirror (http://cgi.ebay.com/Touch-Btns-7-LCD...3%3A2|294%3A50) that has bluetooth and connect it to my carpc??

should be able to in theory but its on ebay and i've never heard of it. also, i'd pass since the mic stands out so much. might as well wire in your own. and its not a mirror just lcd so it might be illegal where you live.

However, I agree with you that it's a cheap no-name'r device... it might be best to steer clear of it. On the other hand... it is only $100...

I would prefer to just have a standard screen with autoswitching + reverse cam + a bluetooth dongle on my PC.

I would not use this as my rearview mirror since I don't know how well the "reflecting surface" works or if you can even use it with the video on. Seems a bit dangerous to me.

A co-worker of mine had a similar mirror. He used it to playback video, he would have kept using it expect it stopped working, the DIN DVD drive stop working and he went with a Pioneer AVN-DV4100 and some add-on screens hang on the of the front seats.

I would say find a local store with the mirror and try it out. Fry's return policy is fairy liberal...
