Post your idea here too, would be nice to see how many people want to see the same How-To, or get an idea from another here.

A question I see quite often is how to power an LCD screen. Most of them are 12v so a how-to on hooking one up to a CarPC molex would be sweet.

    1. How to find the accessory wire to operate your PSU.

    2. Why wire gauge matters (a cool vid of an overloaded thin wire going up in flames would be cool).

    3. Simple - how does a touch screen work? What does it plug into, how does it operate?

    4. How to use a distribution block and why.

I think a series of video's on setting up the whole Car pc system would be good, obviously thats a lot of work, but going from choosing the parts, assembling them, making the molds for the screen, etc,

Distribution block would be a good one too, thx BugByte. That's been a fairly common solution to many questions I've seen here on how to get power to multiple things.

Actually using a digital multimeter (or analog meter, actually) to test for 12v, find a ground, check continuity, and find an accessory wire.
