Hey all,
This will be my first installation involving audio on my 2002 Ford Taurus SE. I need a new faceplate and radio but I've been reading up for a few hours and see that there are many potential problems, and several solutions floating around.
Basically, I'm looking for some input as to whether or not, from all my research, I will have what I need to get the job done.
Here is the faceplate:

Installation instructions for faceplate:

Here is the radio:

Here are some wiring details:

Lastly, I need to buy some "U" shaped tools at walmart to get the stock faceplate off.
Now I don't know about the radio because I'm not sure if I can just put in any aftermarket radio or not. Any input on this project would be greatly appreciated - including potential dangers. Thanks!
