Years ago I bought one like that. After a few weeks, I sold it and starting building my carputer. I don't know if that is possible
First post on this forum, so a big hi to everyone.
I recently purchased a 2 DIN radio (chinese) from a online store.
The unit works on Win CE 5.0 platform and I'm trying to get TT Navigator 6 to run on it.
The TT I have is installed on the Acer PDA and works well however, when I try installing it on the radio, I seems to be hitting a brick wall. I go to the GPS configuration/settings and select the .exe file (navigator.exe) from the SD card which is in the root of the memory card itself. Once I've clearly set the path to the .exe file, I save/confirm and go back to start the GPS. This launches TT (same as it does on my Acer PDA) but then a window appears written in Chinese with a button, I have no clue what it's saying (as it's in Chinese) but I click on it anyway. It then seems to start installing but half way through it stops (get another message in Chinese).
Does anyone know how this is done?
Thanks

I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous - everyone hasn't met me yet .
I managed to find out that TT Navigator 7 will work on Win CE 5.0 (not TT Nav 6). Did manage to get a copy of Route66, this installs and works well on the radio but it's really no where near TT (IMO). I'll try and get hold of TT 7 and give it a go..
What's the advantages of a Carputer ?
Do they also take long to boot up like a normal computer does?
