Intel D201GLY2A 5.1??

I have searched everywhere and can't find the answer for this. Does the Intel D201GLY2A have 5.1 audio?? Or is there a possiblity to convert it to 5.1 onboard audio?? Thanks

And the info I found there is:
"The Integrated AC'97 v2.3 compliance Audio Controller that features a 6-channels of audio speaker out and V.90 modem support. Additionally, the AC'97 interface supports 4 separate SDATAIN pins that are capable of supporting multiple audio codecs with one separate modem codec. "

It says it has 6 channels, which sounds like it would be for 5.1, but my motherboard actually has spots for each different speaker for 5.1 sound.

I'm pretty sure, after looking some more, it is only stereo sound.

Maybe someone else will know something, or be able to back me, but pretty sure it isn't 5.1.

Not everything will play 5.1 either, it depends on what the source is encoded for.
