Thread: HQCT-i Question (configuration)

Hi all, I asked this Q on CF forum, but no luck in a few days...

I have a HQCT-i in my vehicle as per the below picture. I would love some advice; this thing is not playing as intended. The radio works fine, I can tune and save stations in CF. I get no other sounds, i.e. music, GPS prompts or system sounds. Nor can I control the volume of the radio, nor mute it.

If I switch to windows I cannot play anything either, with the exception of using CPC Tuner where I can use all functions (tune, save, volume, fade, balance etc) I get no sound from media player or system sounds.

I have been through my windows and motherboard volume controls extensively, but not a peep to be heard anywhere but radio.

I have also hooked the RCA cables from the PC into external (powered desktop) speakers and they play as advertised when required. All of the HQCT pin allocations I have checked thoroughly several times... I am running stereo lines from PC to HQCT, then 4 speakers from the HQCT through my standard loom and stock BOSE amp (Nissan Murano)

Is there some way to 'hook' the HQCT to the dll file, or a configuration I am missing? The radio module just doesnt seem to relinquish control to the PC for any other sounds.

I hope there is some simple thing I have overlooked!! (i have hooked up exactly as per the picture)

Any advice appreciated.
