    Frontend Confusion

Ive been thinking about how im going to build my car pc for ages and am stuck when it comes to the frontend. I have been through the list of frontends someone has posted but many seem to be beta or discontinued etc. Centrafuse seems to be ongoing and popular but I feel it wont do what im after. Im overwhelmed with whats on offer.

All I want to see on my screen is Radio, MP3 and GPS option. And I suppose a setup/options/config option too.
Im stuck when it comes to the GPS. I would like to use a pc version of Copilot (its always served me well on my phone) or another branded navigation (tomtom etc)

Will any frontend allow me to minimize the display and allow me to chang the link associated with the GPS button to an .exe in my Program Files?

Im planning on using windows. I dont mind using linux (on x86 or powerpc) or mac but I dont think the GPS software works on either.

    Any help would be great!

    Many Thanks

Centrafuse will allow you to re-program buttons, so you could use copilot with it. I don't know how easily it will embed, might take some fiddling. Riderunner is another option that will do what you're looking for with Copilot, it's free and easy to re-skin.

Yeah, I would go with RideRunner - free and pretty customizable. I haven't used GPS with it yet, but i've seen people do it successfully
