motherboards with 800x480 out of the box?

    Hi,
im planning my first carpc install, ive done some amount of reading and have come across a few practical hurdles, the first of which i am going to be discussing in this thread.

i have my eyes set on this screen
Lilliput EBY701-NP/C/T 7" VGA Touchscreen with Backup Camera Wiring
or maybe i will get it ready for 2din from here

The problem is that alot of people seem to be saying its rather impossible to get 800x480 output from their motherboards.
could you please let me know if any of the following motherboards is able to provide the said resolution "out of the box"? (without the need for powerstrip)

    1) ASUS AT3N7A-I Intel Atom 330 (1M Cache, 1.6GHz, Dual-Core) NVIDIA ION Motherboard/CPU Combo

    2)ZOTAC IONITX-A-U Atom N330 1.6GHz Dual-Core 441 NVIDIA ION Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo

    3) INTEL D945GCLF2D/D945GCLF2

Well, both #1 and #2 use nVidia's ION based chipset and their driver does support custom resolutions. I'm using it with an on-board GeForce 7100 (which uses the same driver) and was able to get 800x480 set and displayed fine when the utility tested it, but then that resolution does not show up as selectable in my list of resolutions. If I go back to custom resolutions it's still there. So I haven't been able to set this resolution for my Xenarc, even though both the GPU and the screen both support it. I can't be certain, but I believe the Intel does support 800x480 out of the box. Hopefully someone else can answer that for you.

Almost forgot about this thread. I just posted a reply in one of the screen threads about this. So I have my res set to 1280x720 (small, but fine for me). I'm using RideRunner and my skin is 800x480. As soon as the FE starts up the res displays correctly (even though my osd shows 640x480).
