The subwoofer says to wire at 2 or 4 ohms, the speakers say they can be wired in 2 or 8 ohms.
So I figured 2 to 2 if what I want. The amp has a place to wire 2 subwoofers so i'm guessing is a dual channel D class amp? Can anyone show me a diagram on how to make my subs 2ohms? I can't find out how many ohms per voice coil my subs are, i'm guessing 4 but I don't want to mess anything up.

That amp is a mono (single channel) amp. It has 2 sets of speaker ports so to make wiring 2 subs to one amp easier since it is a common thing.

But what if each coil is 4 ohms :-(

I found it for a 2 channel amp. I have two spots to wire speakers but Kenwood says its a 1 ch amp.

The amp says 1 ohm stable so I guess that will work also

ok so you said you have "Infinity ref 1252 subs" I'm assuming they are Reference 1252w since that's what I get when I Google it - i don't really get a good result for just 1252.

Even though it has 2 sets of speaker hook ups they both still just go to one channel internally. They supply 2 sets for wiring flexibility.

Looking at your amp compared to your speakers you want to end up with a 4-ohm load at the amp so that you have 250watts to each speaker. At a 2- or 1-ohm load you will be producing more power than the speakers are designed for.

In that image they are using an amp with just one set of speaker hook ups. If you would like to utilize both sets you can as well. Just run separate + and - leads to each speaker instead of linking them together. In other word on "sub2" in that image you see the outer terminals jump to the outer terminals on "sub1"... well instead run the outer terminals on "sub2" directly to that amp also and it will act the same way.

Thank you I will wire it like this. I figured because the tech sheet for the subs said 2 or 8 ohms I thought I was just going to have to wire for 2 and buy new ones when the popped.

Dude you are so awesome! That worked perfectly!!! and it also cured my headlight dimming! I'm so excited I thought it was my alt wasn't powerful enough and it was cutting out because of low voltage.
