    XM newbie question

    Hi all,

I'm currently building my own CarPC and got interested in XM radio. Do I need to install an external radio receiver or can I connect some kind of antenna device (like with GPS) directly to a USB port? Thus receiving in the software way. And I assume I need a subscription of some sorts.

Can anyone give me some pointers, I would appreciate it very much.

    Greetings,

    Floyd

XM/Sirius satellite radio doesn't offer coverage in anyplace but North America.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Thank you DarquePervert, it turns out we should have a similar system by now (was scheduled for 2009) but maybe some delay. I'll try to figure it out at this end.
    Thanks, Floyd
