    CPU question

    Is this something decent to start off with ?? This is my first attempt at putting a carputer in my vehicle... http://www.mo-co-so.com/1-6GHz-Dual-...cs-cbs-330.htm else what I need to get the wheels rolling on my project ??

    That's a very nice case and system and a good start. The other things you need will depend on what you want to achive with your system.

    I'm thinking maybe just the normal stuff....Multimedia, FM tuner, Nav and wifi....

    Thanks for the quick responses....one other thing, wifi usb or internal ?

    usb is easier (just plug it in)....internal with an external antenna will give you better range (but requires running an external antenna).

    In addition to the ease of a USB device, that case has no room for any internal expansion cards.
    So USB is a must.
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

    Pretty much the same thing but with what looks like the new intel atom motherboard instead of the jetway motherboard that was in the original one you linked. Performance will be similar, just no PCMCIA or CF slots. They both are sold by the same company though. Ebay's theonlykid1 is Mo-Co-So.
